Here is a quick and delicious recipe for no bake, no frills, add some chills holiday treat.
Those make great gifts if they ever make it out of your kitchen:)
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup cranberries, raisins
- 1 cup cashew
- 1 cup dried papaya
- 1 cup dates pitted
- 1 cup coconut flakes
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
grind nuts in processor till fine consistency, add dried fruit and half of the coconut flakes and vanilla extract and than form balls. Roll into remainder of flakes and chill before serving.
for a special holiday treat add 2 spoons whiskey or rum into the mix to give it some extra jazz.
